This tutorial shows you how yo can set up your email on Microsoft Outlook 2003, however this may work with different versions on outlook or other similar email clients.
To Set Up Your E-mail Account in Microsoft Outlook
Firstly with Microsoft Outlook open, select from the E-mail Accounts menu Tools.
This them opens the E-mail Accounts wizard window, select Add a new e-mail account, and then click Next.
For your server type, select POP3 and then click Next.
On the Internet E-mail Settings (POP3/IMAP) window, enter your information as follows:
Your Name
Your first and last name.
E-mail Address
The Email address e.g. jsmith@coolexample.com
User Name
Your email address username e.g. jsmith+coolexample.com
Password
Your email account password.
Incoming mail server (POP3)
mail.coolexample.com
Outgoing mail server (SMTP)
mail.coolexample.com
Then click More Settings.
On the Internet E-mail Settings window, go to the Outgoing Server tab.
Select My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication.
Select Use same settings as my incoming mail server.
Go to the Advanced tab, and then ensure the Incomming server (POP3) port is set to 110 and the Outgoing server (SMTP) port is set to 80.
Then click OK.
Click Next.
Click Finish.
