Formation help Anna Turney go for gold!
Formation were excited and honoured to be involved in delivering a full branding exercise to one of Team GB’s star athletes. As part of the project, we designed and delivered a bespoke website and developed and implemented a marketing campaign.
Warwick based Anna Turney broke her back in 2006, during a snowboard race. But that didn’t stop her from carrying on with an active and sports focused life. As soon as she could, she was back on the snow, this time on skis as a Paralympic ski racer.
After just 3 years of full training, the 2010 Vancouver Paralympics saw Anna finish in 6th place. She is now going for gold in the 2014 Sochi Paralympic Games.
Known for being ambitious, full of energy, committed and determined to achieve her goals, Anna is currently funding her own training fees and all costs of competitions and travel.
Formation Website Helps to Secure Sponsors
As cash flow is such an important factor for Anna’s journey to the Games with all her costs being funded by herself, it was essential that we gave her a website that would work for her.
Fortunately, our team work and vision paid off and Anna has been able to use her website as the effective communication tool it was designed to be. She has secured sponsorship from businesses such as MacuShield, McDonalds, Bridgestone, Salomon Racing and the Rotary Club.
